This phase of senior project outlines where these articles should be published and why. Along with that is a more in depth of breakdown of what it will take for Semoria Mosley to produce these articles.
The (Black) Fashion Industry: It’s Like Taking Candy From a Baby
This article should be featured as a feature in, Intern Magazine. The UK publication focuses on the perspective of interns. Often others will work for corporations as an intern with no pay, in hopes of obtaining employment there after, validity or useful reference. Most of the times they leave with just an addition to a resume. The articles refers to emerging designers as the same way. They’re like interns to big business – involuntarily. As a reporter Semoria Mosley will report this issue in a neutral and non-biased way. Mosley will strictly inform the masses using research and slight opinion.

Here’s a text excerpt from this interview.
Reporter: Are you aware that some of the designers you may look up to, steal deigns from emerging designers such as yourself?
Interviewee: Oh no. None of the designers I look up to do that. I know who you’re referring to though. Big brands like Dior and Gucci right?
R: Exactly. I know you’re an emerging designer yourself. How is your brand going?
I: It’s going well. Just running into entrepreneur problems, ya know? My new collection will be out soon. I can’t wait.
R: Me either! With you aware of what big brands do to other emerging designers and your designs being so original … do you feel the same could happen to you?
